Ceramic Coatings and their benefits
What is a Ceramic Coating?
In short, a ceramic coating is a polymer solution that is applied to the exterior surfaces of vehicles and equipment, including their paint, wheels, glass, trim or accessories. Once bonded, ceramic coatings create an extremely high-gloss layer of protection over the surfaces they are applied to, protecting against UV fade, chemicals, bird droppings, bug guts, and in some coating’s cases- even minor wash-induced marring and scratching, eliminating the need to apply wax or any other sealants throughout the lifespan of the coating.
All of the coatings we offer contain SiO2 (Silicon Dioxide), which is the primary component in glass, or SiC (Silicon Carbide). These ingredients are what gives them their extreme hardness, slickness and durability to withstand all elements, including UV abuse and harsh chemicals such as road salt.
Ceramic coatings allow for an absurdly easy maintenance process when it comes to maintaining or washing a vehicle. Due to their intense slickness and hydrophobic properties, dirt, road grime and other contaminants are easily washed away. If properly maintained, our ceramic coatings boast years of protection from harmful abuse that one might encounter throughout the life of their vehicle.

Vehicle will undergo a thorough strip wash, removing waxes, oils and other surface contaminants. Paint will then be decontaminated by method of clay bar and iron removal. Paint will receive a one step polish to remove 70-80% of surface defects such as swirls, light scratches and minor oxidation. Paint will then be topped with our 1 year Feynlab Original Coating.

Window Coating
FEYNLAB® WINDOW COATING is an ultra-durable, extremely slick, and super hydrophobic window treatment which covalently bonds to glass. After application, a ceramic-like membrane is formed, filling in the micro voids of the glass and covering the peaks with protection. While this process takes place at the nano scale level, the beneficial change is visually evident, increasing the ability to “see through” glass. Expected durability is 6 months- 2 years.
Trim Coating
FEYNLAB® PLASTIC transforms faded dull exterior trim back into a deep rich looking finish. PLASTIC grants a new chemical structure which adds UV protection from future fading for up to 1 year.
Wheel Face Coating
FEYNLAB® CERAMIC WHEEL AND CALIPER was developed to protect vehicle wheels from harsh conditions and turn wheel cleaning into easy mode. This thick and durable ceramic nano coating invites extreme conditions because it was designed for high temperatures and a constant barrage of intense contamination.
